Yoga Nidra
Deep yogic sleep for profound relaxation and healing.

Between waking and sleep there is a threshold — a state where the body is completely at rest but awareness remains fully alive. This is Yoga Nidra: yogic sleep, the practice of conscious surrender. In this state the mind is more receptive than at almost any other time, and the Seer — freed from the noise of doing — can simply be. At Drashta Yoga, Yoga Nidra sessions are guided by Ritu with specific intention-setting, making each session both deeply restorative and quietly transformative.
Benefits
- Deep Relaxation: A 30-minute session is said to be equivalent to 2-3 hours of deep sleep.
- Subconscious Cleansing: Helps in releasing deep-seated samskaras (impressions) and trauma.
- Stress Management: Highly effective for insomnia, anxiety, and burnout.
This practice is done in a supine position (Savasana) and is accessible to everyone. It is the perfect way to reset your nervous system.
Who Is This For?
Yoga Nidra is for anyone carrying exhaustion that sleep alone doesn't fix — burnout, insomnia, over-stimulation, or emotional heaviness. It requires no physical effort and no prior experience. You simply lie down and follow the guidance. It is also one of the most accessible entry points into meditation for people who struggle with seated practice.
