Dhyana

Dhyana is the practice the entire yoga path points toward. Not the concentration techniques that precede it, not the postures that prepare the body for it — but the state itself: an unbroken flow of awareness toward a single point, until the observer and the observed dissolve into one. This is the Drashta in direct experience. At Drashta Yoga, Ritu teaches Dhyana not as a technique to acquire but as a nature to remember.

Our Approach

We guide you through various stages of meditation:

  • Dharana: Concentration techniques to focus the scattered mind.
  • Guided Visualization: Using positive imagery to induce relaxation.
  • Mindfulness: Observing thoughts without judgment.

Who Is This For?

Dhyana is for students who have some foundation in Pranayama or Asana and are ready to move the practice inward, and equally for complete beginners who want to start from the inside out. It is particularly valuable for those experiencing chronic stress, decision fatigue, or a persistent feeling of disconnection from themselves.
